  Dr. Sumko performed hip revision surgery on my 85 year old mother. We were so impressed when she was able to stand and walk a few hours after surgery, and she was ready to go home the next day! Even though we were told Dr. Sumko's patients recover quickly, we prepared ourselves for complications because of my mother's age - but there weren't any! Everything went smoothly and she is recovering nicely!!
  Dr. Sumko is a surgeon with great skill but he also has a heart. He cares about his patients. He took time to answer our questions before surgery and was available to talk with us following surgery. He put our minds at ease. He was a godsend!
  Dr. Sumko doesn't work alone, his assistant Drew is equally impressive and compassionate. When we had a last minute glitch with our lab work he called us after closing on Friday to make sure mom was clear for surgery on Monday morning. He remembered small details about our situation and always used our names when he spoke to us. These small details show how he attentive he is to each patient. The hospital nursing staff know that Dr. Sumko's patients need to be up and dressed early the morning following surgery, because Drew will be stopping by to take them for a walk and look at their incision.
  Back in the office, nurse Lesha was a big help when mom accidentally got her post-op bandage wet. Belinda also works in the office, she arranged details for the surgery.
  Dr. Sumko, Drew and their team are winners! I highly recommend them!!

  Dr. Sumko, Drew, and all the staff are AMAZING!!! I had my knee replaced after 7 surgeries and years of pain. It was the easiest surgery, recovery, and rehab of all of them!! I was walking a few hours after and back to 100% in no time. Thank you! Thank you!! Thank you!!!

  Dr Sumko diagnosed, recommended and performed Hip Replacement for me. He was very very good at the surgery and his assistant Drew was very personable and answered all of my questions. Without a doubt he is the best hip replacement surgeon to see.

  Want an excellent knee replacement doctor? Ask a physical therapist- we did and we found the best. My husband and I both had replacements with Dr. Sumko and walked out of the hospital. On day 10 I rode a bike for 10 minutes! My swelling is minimal! He doesn’t cut your muscle, he moves it aside.... I can’t say enough. Oh yes! His office staff is pleasant and efficient, as Is his resident! All around a great experience.
