  Really nice people. I went for an AA meeting which says a lot about a church. That they care about the members individually. Good job and way to be progressive!

  A broad-based Methodist Church in Tempe, probably the leading progressive church in the valley. They often host prominent guest speakers, and the pastors aren't afraid to tackle current issues from a non-political, Christian perspective. This is a Reconciling Congregation, which is a United Methodist term for a church where all are welcome, including LGBTQ. Still, they maintain all the traditional Methodist family values, including outstanding music, and well-attended youth and children's activities.

  We've recently moved to Tempe AZ and are so fortunate to find Dayspring. This is an amazing welcoming and active church. I want to emphasize how welcoming it is no matter how the secular world tries to define you, you are welcome here to worship among others.

  Do you want open? inclusive? compassionate? gregarious? active? evocative? lively? involved? mindful? musical? educating? challenging? supporting? nurturing? comforting?
  
  You can still find this today - in a faith based community that does not challenge science - it celebrates it!
  
  Don't trust my word for it.
  Visit Dayspring yourself.
  Go with an open mind and open heart.
  
  There are opportunities for seekers of all ages to ask the faith questions relevant today.
  Offer up your faith doubts without the brick wall and condemnation of regurgitated biblical quotes.
  
  Accept this challenge to faith and if Dayspring United Methodist Church does not answer it with all I have stated and more - they will have failed their God, and YOU will be their greatest loss.
