Christ the Savior Orthodox Church

While all Orthodox churches are special, what makes this place particularly stand out is, through the grace of God, Father Christopher and Matushka Natalie. These are two of the most welcoming and kind people you will ever meet. Most importantly, they are prayerful people who love God. Father Christopher is a well-known and experienced priest I first met over a decade ago in Los Angeles. He is prayerful, kind, welcoming, and many faithful come to him for spiritual advice and confession. Matushka Natalie is one of the most generous people I have ever met. She always has a smile and a kind word for people and makes you feel included. When I first met her, I told her how much I liked her prayer rope, and she wanted to give it to me right then and there! She is a wonderful conversationalist--not in the worldly sense, even though she is a lot of fun and has a great sense of humor. Once, she was speaking with me, a friend, and my kids, in front of the church after the service. We talked about something, and while it was friendly and light hearted, it also had a lasting spiritual effect on us. They have been praying and working very hard to make this church a place of prayer and by so many other accounts, a community. There's events and it's very well organized. Come visit.

After being at my home church all my life and having a Church Family, I have finally found another Church Family with Christ The Savior.

My husband and I have been attending Christ The Savior since its opening. As a Christian convert, what I love about this parish is that it is welcoming and its emphasis on developing spiritual growth, faith, and prayer. Fr. Christopher is a great teacher and loving pastor. When you visit you'll find seniors, young families, and people from every part of the world doing one thing...worshiping our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! The services and music are traditional and in English.

In my 30 years in America I have never been in a church as welcoming as Christ the Savior. When I was sick with Covid, Father Christopher and Matushka Natalie helped me by bringing my medications and necessities. Everyone in church are very close and caring. My fellow parishioners are always concerned for one another and help each other out. In this church, there is a feeling of friendship, God’s love and presence that is very strong. Once you come here, you will feel that you are home!

The sisterhood always has fresh beautiful flowers at all times. The church is always kept very clean. Even if you do not have money, everyone is welcome to participate during fellowship. We also have a nice bookstore. We are very excited to share our treasure with everyone!

I have been truly blessed by God leading me here and learning of the Christian teachings as taught by the Apostles. I never knew The Son of God before his birth and after his Crucifixation, The Holy Trinity, The Mother of God, and the Saints through my previous limited Christian teachings. Fr Christopher's gifted and tireless efforts permeate this parish of The Church.
