Oro Valley Eyecare

My experience with the team at Oro Valley Eyecare was incredible!! Dr. Calderon was as excited as I was to find a solution to my vision issues! The whole team was so helpful, encouraging, complimentary and so much fun. I almost wish I didn't have to wait a year to see them again!

I have seen Dr Mackelprang in a previous practice and stayed with him at Oro Valley Eyecare. He is excellent, both friendly and thorough. He takes the time to explain everything to me and has gone out of his way to make my eyeglass and contact lens prescription as perfect as possible. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that there were some scheduling issues that were suboptimal, though he told me he would discuss these with his staff.

Dr Mitchell is an impressive eye doctor. He is personable, knowledgeable, and caring. I appreciated all the information he gave us about our eye health as we enter into the time of life where things tend to deteriorate. All the rest of the staff was caring and truly listened to us. It's been decades since we felt like we were getting our eye care from a real professional.

I had a pleasant experience from the time I walked in the door! I was met with a nice welcome, and after a short wait, Myrna took me back to start my eye exam. After that, I was seen by the eye doctor. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. They were very professional in getting their work accomplished. I would definitely recommend this office.

Oro Valley Eyecare was amazing. The tech was wonderful while doing all the various exams, explaining everything as she went. The doctor spent a long time with me, at least 30 minutes if not more. He explained everything very carefully, showing me pictures of my eyes vs. eyes with the diseases we are watching for. He explained some nutritional things I could do to improve my eye health. Then the office people were very helpful in helping me choose new glasses. They carefully explained all the various options. I will keep this group as my eye care professionals.
