(July 31, 2021, 10:22 pm)Nice canyon to hike. There are restroom and shelters on the beginning of the trail. If you see cloud infront and do not see the mountains, stop and get back. Do not go to the canyon if there is rain prediction. There are high chances of flash floods.

(May 15, 2021, 12:44 am)Such a beautiful public space in Oro Valley, a real gem of a city park. Several trails meander through the canyon on the south side of Rancho Vistoso Blvd offering great views of the Catalinas as well as Dove Mountain. Hiking north along the canyon under the roadway is also very nice, though stay to the sides to find better footing along the sandy wash.
