  I visited in late September. I was impressed that they offered me a helmet, and required that I demonstrate basic riding skills in an arena before going on the trail. I tode a very large mule that was generally well trained. My guide was friendly and the ride was scenic with several opportunities to trot and canter along the way. I would highly recommend this stable.

  Thank you to David for making it happen yesterday for a trail ride at short notice and Shannon for giving me a fantastic trail ride. I would like to be able to ride with you guys more, but I can’t afford it.

  My 4 daughters and I have been riding at The Heart of the Horse for years. David Lavin is truly a gift to Tucson. Whether you want to learn to ride, take a trail ride or need an equine therapist, this is your place. The ranch is warm and homey. The people are positive and helpful. I can not recommend it here enough.

I am the newest horse to the Heart of the Horse Ranch. I am a newer horse to Heart of the Horse and am nicely adjusting. A good petting session brings a smile to my face. I love running and riding fast and am the perfect horse for an expert rider!

David the owner keeps the barn very well-kept and has great boarders and horse trainers this place is a thumbs up and I would recommend it to anybody looking 4 horse riding lessons to board your horse or even volunteer to feed Boarding at Heart of the Horse has been the best decision we made.
