Dr. Kartchner has been my doctor for the past 5 years. He is very knowledgeable, a great listener, organized and efficient. He is accessible, and his office Manager "Mo" is likewise very diligent in making an appt in an expedited manner , if needed. He is willing to do house calls within a mileage circumference, offers discounts on labs, xrays, MRI's etc, and the meds that he can provide are very reasonable. I have many friends that now have chosen him as their Dr, and i highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for a caring , one on one experience with their Physician. This is the way medicine should be done ...This coming from a Registered Nurse (23 years and counting)👌👍🤗

Dr K has been our Dr for 3 or 4 years. I cannot recommend him enough. He's quick to respond, compassionate, good listener. My kids love him. He remembers you and knows you - you're not just a number. Finding him has been the best thing for us financially and for our peace of mind. Moe is awesome as well.

Affordable, quality healthcare at its finest.

I had shopped around for "insurance" only to find my most "affordable" option was $247 per month with $8700 out of pocket deductibles per year ($11,600 per year). I cannot afford that. I don't know many people who can afford the "affordable healthcare" "insurance".

Dr. Kartchner offers an affordable monthly rate. It also allows great discounts for out-of-office services (x-rays, labs, etc). The office staff doesn't have the stressors of billing insurance, nor do they have to pay staffing to handle the ins and outs of dealing with insurance. This is a big deal, and saves an enormous amount in wages and resources. The savings are passed onto the clients/patients. It also allows the staff to treat the patient like a person, not a pain whose insurance is going to cause them a chronic headache.

I had some concerns of joining, especially the ability to get same-day appointments if I experienced an acute illness, requiring same-day treatment. This has not been an issue, and Dr. Kartchner explained that he has the intent of keeping his client base balanced with the demands of keeping daily appointments available.

The feel in the office is not like the ordinary doctor's office where you sign in and wait, and wait, and wait, and wait, and wait. If you haven't experienced this before you're lucky. Dr. Katchner's business model naturally avoids this delay in the waiting room. There is no stress, very short waits, if any, and a relaxed staff and atmosphere.

This seems to be an ideal medical practice plan. If all practitioners and medical facilities offered something similar, healthcare would be affordable as it was before the insurance dealings of the day. I can afford healthcare made affordable. I am more than happy to pay for services. I cannot pay for "insurance" still requiring a monthly rate I can't afford, especially for the entire family ($700+ per month), plus thousands of dollars in "deductibles".

The care I have received thus far is exceptionally better than I have gotten by any other medical practitioner. Dr. Kartchner listens! He cares about underlying conditions, past medical history, and really takes note of what I'm saying. I'm not a cookie-cutter patient to him. Even after an appointment, it's not uncommon for him to send me an email about a condition or concern days or weeks later. He keeps me in mind. Who does that?! Honestly, paying $70 per month for a doctor who really cares about me is affordable and well-worth the peace of mind of having access to healthcare that I can really afford!

I can obviously go on and on about The Family Doctor. I would highly recommend him.

Dr. K is probably my favorite doctor. I'm a nurse and spend time with various doctors. He is personable and REALLY takes time to listen to you. His rates are great, they don't report to your insurance, and no long waiting periods to get in. He has better prices on medications or will try to find you the best price. They don't accept insurance. I have insurance and it costs more to be seen there. I highly recommend Dr. K. For questions, call Mo. She's great, too.

What a great experience! Dr. Karchner and his staff are excellent. He is very knowledgeable and actually listened to me. He took his time and explained his treatment and reasoning for it. I was able to get in very quickly even at an odd hour. His prices are very reasonable. This is how going to the doctor should be. Would recommend this office to anyone.
