  I no longer live in Tucson and I still tell almost everyone I know about El Nene's. This place is the master of meats. Unbelievable. Juicy, tons of flavor, quality meats. I have seriously thought about starting my own where I live now, just so I can eat it again. Unfortunately, I know mine wouldn't be as good as theirs. This place is AWESOME!!!!

  My most favorite place to eat. Miss this place everyday now that I've moved. Visiting Tucson again after 6 years. Sonoran dogs are the best. Miss you guys and your food

  This has to be the best Mexican food in town their prices are amazing. The gentlemen tending to this place work very hard because they are super busy and the weight are not that long. The food is absolutely delicious and always fresh I encourage Anyone with an appetite for Mexican to give this place a shot it is surely an experience with no regret.

  I was born and raised in Southwest New Mexico. I have been away for 41 years. I was fortunate to be able to recently visit Tuscon. In addition, I was also fortunate to visit El Nene for lunch. I Love Mexican food. This place has authentic Mexican food. It was excellent!! And, price was excellent. If you are in the Tuscon area, I would highly recommend that you schedule a stop at El Nene for lunch.
