Let me start by saying, thank you, Peter! I honestly had no desire to learn how to dive until I found out you would be my instructor. I can’t think of anyone that I trust more when it comes to safety and proficiency. Peter is a fantastic instructor and a great listener. No matter how many times I may have asked the same questions, or didn't understand a skill or technique, he was
always patient with me and willing to give me as much time as I need to become a better diver. As a matter of fact, he continues to be very instrumental in my learning process and growth. He makes every dive challenging, yet fun and exciting. Peter will give you the confidence and drive that that you may need to become a better diver! Thank you, Peter, for your integrity, hard work, mastery, patience, knowledge, and passion for diving. You are the reason that I can face my fears head-on and challenge myself in life!

Peter is an incredible Scuba Instructor! He made the process fun, engaging, and exciting. I took a refresher course with Peter and he touched on a number of points that my previous certifying instructor didn't. His passion for diving and teaching is extremely evident! You would be crazy to get certified with anyone else!

Peter is incredible. His knowledge of scuba is mind blowing and his patience with his students is second to none. The thought of getting certified was very overwhelming, however Peter made it one of the most enjoyable learning experiences possible.

I hunted down Peter Avila at his new company because I did my Open Water checkout dives with him through a shop that's since closed, and even though I've done a lot of diving since then, I can't imagine a better instructor to further my education with. During our open water dives, he spent an extra hour in a cold lake with a student who was struggling to make sure the student genuinely had the training he needed. I could go on, but I think that's all that really needs to be said. He's truly student-focused and is an impressively experienced and knowledgeable diver who's happy to share that knowledge. He's a pleasure to work with and his enthusiasm for diving is contagious. I'd strongly recommend Another World Scuba Academy to anybody who's considering beginning or advanced dive certifications.

Peter is by far the best Instructor that I have ever had the pleasure of learning from. He is always exceptionally patient and understanding. He always has the answer and never hesitates to explain it until you fully understand. And as an added bonus, he continuously makes you laugh along the way. I truly feel that I have made a friend for life, and I can’t wait for all of our future adventures together.
