  Dr Donnelly has been the Doctor, Shrink, Life Coach, Personal trainer and miracle worker I’ve been searching for all my life. As a psychologist myself, I am particularly difficult and I come with a lifetime of issues that I’ve found ways to neatly disguise/tuck way/hide. I had almost lost all hope in any Psychiatrist/therapist being able to “get” me, until I met Dr Donnelly. She intuitively knows exactly how far to push me, exactly how to access my buried and disguised issues (in a way that comforts me and makes me feel so safe to be so unguarded), to laugh and share some of my most messed up innermost thoughts and feelings (and be accepted), and just be. I can handle her truths without denial or anger. She is so genius with knowledge of medication that it’s uncanny. She loves dogs and shoes and quirky fashion. She is very kind, but forthcoming when need be. She’s the only therapist I’ve ever felt comfortable, never bored, always challenged, but always supported by simultaneously. If you’re looking for a psychiatrist/therapist to just prescribe medication and you don’t want to learn more about yourself, she is not your doctor. Dr Donnelly will motivate you to learn and grow even when you truly believe you’ve got nothing left. It is in this amazing gift that makes her for me, a miracle Shrink. She’s the Real Deal. I’m becoming so much more insightful, relaxed, open, loving, giving and healthy as a result of her brilliance. Thank you, Dr Mavis Donnelly. You are the miracle I’d been inadvertently praying for.
