True. Never attended. But my pastor from NTBC did: Carroll Frankland, B4 his move to Maine.
Your pastor spoke @ NTBC's Men's Advance @ Lester Roloff's old retreat North of your church in AZ upon some Indian Reservation a few years ago.
Your pastor grandson, I think, to two preachers: the late J C. Joiner, founder of NTBC, & a long-term missionary to S. Korea- name eludes me. Lambert? Lasater(sp?)?.
I thought your pastor did fantastic job speaking @ NT's Men's Advance when I in attendance; he spoke on consecutive nights. That's why I send small donation monthly & will continue to do so.

Church is church. If they preach from scripture and mention the Holy Spirit than its good. Be careful if they start giving their opinion instead of facts. Joking and story telling is not church that's a comedy club. If you want to laugh than go to a comedy club. If you want the truth ask the Lord for truth and wisdom.
