One of those places, that we never got to over the years and you don’t end up there by accident. Surprisingly easy to get to, plenty of parking and with family in town (east coast) it was a lot of fun to get a little taste of the old Southwest! It was fun to walk through, free entertainment in the streets are where they were robbing banks are stealing the girl… Pan for gold, shooting gallery, the old mine, and a food much better than what I would’ve expected. We even stopped for an antique photo that is priceless. Goldfield! Who knew? Go check it out!

    Love this place .
Super fun little place .. you can have lunch at the main restaurant.. basic fare but its good times in fun salon theme and restaurant with everything hanging on the walls and a patio outside with music . Also a coffee shop and lots of little shops daily shows of gun fighting in streets .
Horses to rent .. old time pictures and a chair zip line that pulls you backward and let's you go ! . Oh yes a train you can ride too around the property and train station. Beautiful mountain view lots of folks come out there with their families . Go early wear a hat even in winter time it is still pretty sunny ..you get a lot of walking up dirt hill so no heels or dressy shoes your going to get dusty. There is more than I mentioned here but that is overall the way the town folds out . Located in town of Apache Junction which is low key with good cowboy grit vibe and nice people .

Super cool place to go visit. Most of the little town is just souvenir shops. There’s 2 restaurants there a steakhouse and a burger/hot dog type place. Lots of extras to do for a cost.
Jeep tours, horseback riding, small zip line $12, train ride $10 (only about 10 minutes around the little town), museum tour $7, mine tour. Just make sure to go on the website to check prices and If you need reservations for stuff, otherwise it’s just walking around shops, but still fun. Really historic and cool place. There was lots of parking, all walking on dirt, I’d suggest closed toe shoes, and in the summer it gets very hot with not much shade.

Fun 1/2 day adventure. Very informative mine tour, the mystery shack is unique and fun however if you have vertigo or get dizzy easy beware. They have several places to eat and shop. We purchased really good smoothies. The location is sightly elevated with an incline. Although there is handicapped parking up front, the mine tour & mystery shack are only accessible if you are able to walk per the tour guide. No real access if you have a wheelchair. It didn't look like there was room for a wheelchair on the train ride either. So you're limited to pretty much walking through the town, which is still interesting, and free. There isn't much seating or shade around the town to sit and linger so be prepared to do quite a bit of standing and walking. Also bring water unless you want to pay an exorbitant price for it in the town. Overall it is a fun place to take family & friends when they come to visit. I would recommend going earlier in the day when the temperature is cooler.

Such a fun place to spend the day on the way to Tortilla Flats. There are endless things to do in this larger amusement ghost town. Fully functioning town all the store fronts were full of merchandise with loyal of era shop owners willing to help you along the way. Really fun time enjoying all Goldfield had to offer.
