I am 67 years old and was in bed 90% of the day due to my fibromyalgia and other autoimmune problems.
Now that I have been micro dosing with hydrocort, I actually played hide and seek with my 2 year old granddaughter.
I tried many medication from my doctor and had to take pain medication to work. I tried many different supplements and vitamins with no relief.
Family and friends noticed how different I was after starting the micro dosing. People could even tell in my voice over the phone.

This has been a has truly been a miracle in my life.

Update: I'm now on the 24th week of the program and still doing well. I have felt so great that I've had a renewed joy of life. The pain reduction has inspired me to exercise more and lose the extra weight that has been dragging me down.

Original review: I have had amazing results from Professor Stenberg's regimen. I have been suffering from osteoarthritis for well over 10 years. On bad days, I couldn’t bend over because my back hurt so much.

I have seen numerous arthritis doctors over the years but none offered any hope. I settled on Celecoxib (aka Celebrex) for the past 4 or 5 years. It helps but it's far from a "silver bullet". The problem is that Celecoxib is linked to a number of serious side effects that become more dangerous for long time users. Even with all of the side effects, Celecoxib only dampens the arthritis, it doesn't "fix" anything.

Under the care of Professor Virgil Stenberg of The Helen Foundation, my results have been transformative. I feel so great that I have been able to stop taking Celecoxib altogether. When I started the protocol, I scored a 70 on Stenberg's pain and stiffness evaluation - even while taking Celecoxib twice a day. Within 2 to 3 weeks on his hydrocortisone “shower” (a 4 week tapering dose), my pain/stiffness score plummeted. Within a month, my pain score was 10 most days.

The benefits have been significant. My pack pain is almost gone. Hip joint pain - gone. Metatarsalgia (ball of the foot pain) significantly improved. Pain in my hands from a pinched nerve in my neck - nearly completely resolved.

Speaking of that pinched nerve in my neck, my doctor’s diagnosis was “Cervical Radiculopathy”. For the past two to three years, my hands would go numb then start throbbing in pain when I tried to sleep in bed. Ultimately, the pain would get so bad I had to sleep in a recliner. Shortly after starting the Microdose Therapy, I was able to return to sleeping in bed and I haven't had to sleep in the chair for nearly 3 months now!

Clearly, hydrocortisone microdose therapy is working for me and proving significantly more effective than Celecoxib. I am now on my 12th week of the program … well into the microdose part. This is the maintenance phase where you take a small tapering dose over 4 days as needed to reset the inflammation control that you established the first month. You have to learn to be careful because the hydrocortisone can make you feel so good you forget that you have underlying issues.

If you think about hydrocortisone as a supplementation therapy for the hormone cortisol, then avoiding overdose is critically important. This is where Professor Stenberg’s research has proven most important and the reason why anyone on this therapy needs to follow the protocol. Prof Stenberg acts as your coach, tracking your daily scores and providing guidance as you learn how to take control of your pain. His ultimate goal is to teach you how to use the lowest possible dose to provide the best symptomatic relief.

Bear in mind that Medicine doesn’t guarantee success to everyone. That’s a plain and simple fact. Some patients simply don’t have stellar results, no matter what the therapy is. The same is going to be true for hydrocortisone microdose therapy. Even in the Erwin/Baldwin study posted on the Helen Foundation website, ~13% of participants " failed to attain significant symptom improvement during the induction period".

If you try hydrocortisone therapy, be ready to stop it if it isn’t working for you. Hydrocortisone can interfere with recovery from infections and infectious diseases so if you get sick while on the protocol, talk to your doctor. Don’t assume that a few people reporting poor reactions means the therapy doesn't work. If you are in chronic pain, give Professor Stenberg’s therapy a try.

The bottom line is that Professor Stenberg believes in hydrocortisone microdose therapy and so do I. His program is reasonably priced and if you follow his protocol, you are unlikely to experience any side effects.

Microdose treatment from the Helen Foundation kept my grandmother with Rheumatoid Arthritis alive 30 years longer than the average life expectancy of people with her condition and improved her quality of life 100x. I am so grateful for the wonderful time I was able to spend with her thanks to this treatment. Well worth the money!

The Helen Foundation has given me over 15 years of pain - free living with osteoarthritis. The staff taught me how to adapt my dosage to my needs. They were helpful and I appreciate them all.
