(July 24, 2020, 6:02 pm)This place is a solid 4 stars. Not the best burrito ever made, it doesn't have an evangelical following, but a I'm always happy to eat here. Like I'd never say "oh, I'm only 20 minutes from that place, so I'll wait even though I'm starving" but if someone asks if I want to go to La Burrita, I don't worry that I just ate there yesterday so I'm not ready to go back.
The bottomless chips are awesome. -

(June 14, 2020, 11:24 am)I don't know where my review for this place went, I swear I wrote one 3 years ago and it was for tacos.
What brought me here was the outdoor courtyard. I sat down and look over my list of things that I need before heading back home to sin city. All of a sudden the aroma of cooking meat came out of vent right in front of me. Are you kidding me?
The service is your average standard taqueria were you interact with cashier tell them what you want then pay and wait for your number to be call. Two guys working cashier and kitchen and they don't take social-distancing seriously here. No marking on floor or sign just a couple of 8×11 three whole lined notebook paper tape on the tile floor. I get it, the place is dated and not worth the effort of letting people know.
I got a large pollo burrito with everything chips included just need to get prefilled salsa from container yourself. This burrito is hefty filled and wrapped nicely enough to feed two people. I really like the freshness, the shredded chicken were in chunks strands of fiber attached loosely had good taste and seasoned perfectly. A burrito this size would go for $15+ in any sf taqueria especially the mission, but not here. Chips weren't restaurant quality type, but they try to fry them to get that oily bubble fresh look.
