Small contact station with interesting exhibits, friendly volunteers, wish we had a bigger visitor center. Wonderful trails for bicycle or walking
This look out/trail area is very nice and the information center is very helpful with providing maps and little help. A good place to bring the family or even go alone!

Federal Duck Stamps are required for duck hunting and are available at the Fremont Visitor Center Wednesday-Saturday from 11 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. It may be best to call the Visitor Center at 510-792-0222 ext. 363 prior to coming as staff authorized to sell the stamp may be in meetings or out conducting a program. Trails near the Visitor Center in Fremont are closed on Thanksgiving day, January 1, and December 25. Trails are periodically closed for maintenance or restoration projects.
