  We took online classes with gulugulu during the pandemic. Their classes are systematic and the teachers are experienced and responsible to help kids stay learning at home. They provide both onsite and online classes. I recommend any parents to consider gulugulu with your little ones.

  My son, Daniel, has been studying online at gulugulu during the last 2+ years. I would like to post my recent letter to one of their teachers, Ms. Christin, as a review -
  
  Hi Ms. Christin,
  
  Thank you so much for the report and the great summary of Daniel's progress over reading, writing and in particular, the growth of confidence in himself as he kept practicing in writing. We also observed the fast progress Daniel has been making during last several months. Reading-wise, he was able to make a jump from the "Elephant and Piggie" series to the "What Should Danny Do?" series as his vocabulary increases. Right now, he is at the beginning of the "Magic Tree House" books which do not have any pictures. We hope he would keep increasing his vocabulary so he can get to the Spider Man books soon.
  
  In terms of writing, we also noticed the continuous progress he has been making. At this point, he is able to speak out the sentence first and then come to us on the words that he does not know. This is a leap forward from several months ago when he had more difficulty speaking out complete sentences verbally. We think he definitely benefited from your confidence-installing and positive-mindset methodology. If he keeps practicing and with the continuous growth of his vocabulary, he will be able to express more of his ideas freely in writing!
  
  It's worth mentioning that during the last month or so, one of Daniel's regular practices is to memorize and write by himself the new words that you have given them in the booklet. This is something that Daniel never did before but it is so effective in increasing his vocabulary. Thank you for putting him in this practice and we will certainly try to keep him on this track.
  
  Daniel is going to the first grade next Thursday (8/11). With all the preparation that he received from you and other teachers we believe he will do just fine in the school
  
  We are so grateful that Daniel had you as his teacher during the last 2+ years. He learned so much from you and he has also been enjoying every class you had. These are invaluable to his growth during this pandemic time. We'll see how Daniel does in school and let's keep in sync to see what opportunities you may have down the road so he can continue learning from you!

  I am leaving a review based on my experience as a teacher working here for Gulu Gulu for almost 2 years now. I honestly really love this school so much. Every school that I have work at I have learned a lot from but when I came to Gulu I found myself learning even more than I ever have and reaching new goals as a teacher because of the support, belief, and encouragement that I have from my teammates/coworkers.
  The students have always inspired me since the beginning, I came in when the pandemic was first starting and I was so impressed by the positivity and determination of these children to want to learn and have fun. These children are learning A LOT. The great thing about the school is that we Challenge our children and class options. Ms. Karen is always open to starting a new class or time which I can see families really appreciate her for that flexibility.
  Once our students meet the learning goals we take it another step further, we don’t just prepare them for next grade level, but two grades. Our preschoolers last year were only working on first grade material by the last 3/4 of school; writing sentences, two digit math, comprehension, spelling tests…
  These children are benefiting so much from the program and I’m really glad to be apart of it.

  My son Andy has been attending the Gulu Gulu After School Enrichment Program and Summer Camp for the past 3 years. As a parent, the Gulu Gulu program has exceeded all of my expectations.
  There are so many great things that I want to share with other parents. Gulu Gulu promotes a warm, nurturing, safe and accepting learning environment. To be honest, the staff and other students feel more like extended family members the longer my son is in the program. He feels accepted for who he is, yet he is challenged to do his best.
  Gulu Gulu provides small teacher to student ratios, which allow my son to get more attention and support he needs. Also, as a two parent working household, Gulu Gulu has safely picked up my son from his school and transported him to the learning center for the past 3 years without any issues or concerns.
