Crazy Empanadas

Good food

I went there for some Colombian food, it was amazing! So yummy empanadas and tequeños are delicious

I had Colombian food when I lived in Florida, but I don't remember it being like this. Perhaps there is a difference in Colombian street eats...not sure. This is a food Truck that hangs around the Livermore area, I'm not sure where else they venture. The Bright Yellow colors caught my eye and I decided to give it a try. They were parked right outside Altamont this particular day.

I'm still not sure what I just ate...lol. Not certain this dish tasted like the description. I wouldn't have known I ate Plantains, if it weren't for the description. Hearty, tasty, good flavor. There is a lot going on...

This is an odd one to me. The Fried pieces of Lechon were absolutely brilliant! However, I felt there was a bit too much going on... This thing is Hearty, Heavy, Overstuffed and has a bit too many flavors and textures going on for my taste. It's hard to eat, since it's overstuffed. It's still good, I just had to dice and separate it, before eating it.

I'll definitely give the other dishes a try
