We have been with Music Time Academy for over 7 years and have had nothing but the best experience from every aspect and interaction. Instructors and the staff and professional, welcoming and warm. It feels like a family that cares. We love this place! Special thanks to Timmy G, Anna and Monica.
My daughter has taken music lessons with Nick for the past 3 years. He's been an incredible teacher, really nurturing her love of music and letting her explore different instruments (at various times, she's played piano, ukulele and drums in her lessons). They often talk about songs she likes and figure out how to play them. It's very creative and fun - she loves her lessons! We've been doing virtual lessons throughout COVID and they've been so smooth. My daughter has really looked forward to their time together every week. The whole team at Music Time is organized, kind and devoted to their students. You'll love it here!
I was a student here for years and I loved it! Judy Cruces was a great teacher and helped me grow as a student. Another great thing about this academy is they have concerts a few times each year so the students get experience performing.
Cory is my best music teacher ever. I've made great progress playing guitar after almost a year. Cory is great help when I get stuck.
I have had no experience playing a musical instrument before I started taking lessons at the Music Time Academy. I have been taking guitar lessons from Cory for 9 months. He has been a great teacher and a mentor. His has a steadfast willingness to share his technical expertise in classical guitar and in music. In addition to teaching particular techniques in guitar playing (e.g. arpeggio, planting), he always gives a big picture of music theory by showing examples from other instruments such as the piano. During our lessons, we follow the book called "the christopher parkening guitar method, vol.1". We already covered more than half of the book. I want to give a quick example about the progress I have made. At the moment, I am able to play a theme from Beethoven''s symphony 9 (Ode to Joy). In summary, my experience has been very positive.
