  This is an awesome gym and they have a baseball field and I find it relaxing to go there to feed the birds and squirrels.

  Tucked away where no one would look is a modern, clean, indoor waterslide and "lazy river". This isn't a lap pool, it's a place for kids to come and play in the water, no matter what time of year. Too hot? Go swimming. Too cold? Go swimming! My daughter's friend even had her birthday party here, and the kids happily went back and forth between the pizza and the pool.

  A surprising find! It's an Oakland Parks & Rec facility offering use of this swim complex and a fitness center under one roof. Even if the pool may not be brand spanking new like the one they're building at the Diamond Park, it's still a pool with a water slide.
  
  They also offer a variety of classes. You can buy a Day Pass, or a monthly membership. If you want to try it out for 7 days, there's a pass for that too! There are even discounts available depending on your employment and/or insurance coverage. Need to at least check it out.
