Fusion Delight

Aside from the relatively long wait time (even at 1:30 pm on a midweek), their dim sum is authentic and tasty. We always tend to order more than what we could finish. It is just that good.

By the way, the pre-charge 15% service fee in the bill.

They get 4 stars because the food was good and they had a good waiting system. (Also, I haven't had dim sum in awhile, LOL).

Went here on a Sunday morning around 11:55am. Sooooo crowded. But it was just me and my aunt. We checked in and were given a ticket with a number on it and there's a monitor where you can track your place in line, which I thought was such a good system. My aunt said she tried to make reservations online but they only allow you if you have a party of 10 or more. About 25-30 minutes later, we were finally seated.

They give you a tablet so you can order your food yourself (not all of the items have photos). The lady left the table without switching it to English so we had to stop someone and have them change it for us. Getting their attention here is a little difficult, luckily we were seated in an area where there were staff constantly passing by. Once they seat you at your table, they give you hot tea and you're pretty much on your own.

We ordered the shrimp siumai, deep fried shrimp balls, whole roast duck with steamed buns, house combination fried rice, baked taro and the cutie buns (we thought it was pork buns but it was filled with egg custard but they were definitely cute). We obviously over ordered as it was just the two of us. But we really wanted to try as much as we can and ended up having leftovers for both of us. The food was really good. At least, of all the things we ordered, I'd definitely order almost everything again. The one thing I wouldn't reorder would probably be the fried rice because it was the last thing to come out, we even had to follow up on it because we thought they forgot about it. So, we tried a few bites and it was just okay. I honestly could have just done without the fried rice and just ordered more dim sum items with steamed white rice on the side.

I'd definitely go here again, not for the service, but for the food.

When I first walked in, I noticed how much room there were between tables. The place is fairly large with a high ceiling. Live fish tanks for the ultimate fresh fish and crustaceans. You order through an i-pad on the table. The food comes out piping hot and fresh. The place can get noisy as expected with customers just happy to see family and friends. One of the best Dim Sum places I have been to recently.

It has been more than few years since we had weekday brunch at Fusion Delight. It was a pleasant surprise, and we found several dishes that are not offered by other authentic Chinese restaurants. We ordered the following: Sticky Rice, Beef Stew, Pan Fried Layered Ginger Cake (try it the first time), Marinated Pig Feet, Sponge Cake and Daikon Cake. Like the dishes and will visit next time for dinner.
