Absolutely beautiful camp ground. The staff was very nice and helpful. The bathrooms were exceptionally clean.
AAAA+ 5+ stars for sure. Great cozy campground. Our neighbors were quiet and followed the rules. Great view and trails nearby. Clean bathroom and hot shower available. Bring cash for a token for the shower. Dog friendly and mosquito nets or repellent are must-haves.
We had a great time during our stay here. The campgrounds were clean, the bathrooms were clean and well maintained. We didn't use the showers, but they were kept clean as well. There is a small fee for the showers. I believe $1.00 got you 4 minutes of use. We enjoyed the nice hiking trails and the history of the local park. Definitely recommend a stop to the Indian Grinding Rock museum.
The only negatives would be the lack of a dump station, the poor cell service (which is also a good thing) and the un-even sites. Luckily, we are in a 21' van and didn't have any issues with the un-level spots.
Overall, we would definitely visit again.
Must see before pictographs are gone. Beautiful park. See museum at the Ranger Station. Majestic 300 year old Oak trees. Sacred longhouse and village with bark teepees. Stand on the viewing platform for a special view of the Grinding Rock!
