  A fantastic hole in the wall with old small town vibes. Their food portions are filling and every meal is served with minestrone soup, salad & bread. You have to come here without great expectations. This is not a fine dining experience it's a unassuming joint where you get good portions, dirt cheap drinks & nice service.

  Prime Rib, Calamari steaks,You pick the Entree & you get french bread,minestrone soup, salad,pasta. They don't serve dessert.but they do have a full bar.Waiting time, it depends 15 maybe 20min. But worth the wait.

  A fun, cozy comfort food restaurant. Love it's funky charm!!
  Not like the same old boring chain restaurants that are too abundant around here.
  
  This is tried and true good ole American fare. ????

  Loved this place. The best prime rib I've had in along time. Plus it's totally affordable. I go to a lot of restaurants in Oakland, Berkeley, SF and on the peninsula. I'm leery of ordering steak or prime rib because I'm always disappointed. This place surpassed all of my expectations. The staff is also friendly.

  Love Macs Old House! The food is amazing and the prices are insanely cheap. Often times we come in and get the soup just to take home and have for dinner. They let you bring your own container and fill it up for a good price. I usually get the chicken breast or the prime rib. The prime rib is under 14$ and always delicious. They have cheap prices on their well drinks also, however I usually spend a little extra to get a better quality liquor. All in all we love going to Macs. The wait is always worth it and its our favorite hidden gem in the area!
