We had heard that obtaining a new mortgage became much more difficult after the financial meltdown. Therefore, we chose an independent mortgage broker to help us through the process. We are very glad we did. While our financial situation is more complex than average, Mons worked very closely with us and skillfully manged everything so we obtained exactly the loan we were looking for. I don't think someone at a large institutional lender would have had the patience or the skill to make us a priority like Mons did.
