  For a restaurant that is brand new they are doing a great job of making you feel valued, important and working out the kinks. An excellent value for your dollar.
  
  Finding cornmeal fish fillets is very rare around here. Hush Puppies is an excellent find.
  
  I had catfish basket w/vinegar slaw and the hush puppies were perfect! Fish cooked precisely as you would want. Look at that pic. It's not the typical two pieces on a mountain of fries. That is a mountain of catfish fillets!!!!
  
  Pittsburg's best kept secret us out. Between Popeyes and Walmart at Leland @ Loveridge. Great parking. Carey out only. Ormond works the front counter. He can address any questions you have!

  The place is "takeout only." No room for tables.
  Traditional "Southern fried" fish and seafood. 3 or 4 different types of fish with shrimp and oysters. They even have calamari. Very good seasoning with cornmeal dredge. Food prepared to order, so it's fresh but takes some time.

  Ordered 3 meat meal with 2 sides for 2 adults. Got chicken wings, catfish, shrimp, extra hush puppies and coleslaw. So good almost forgot to take photo. We were halfway through before I did. Awesome hush puppies. Great flavor. Fish and shrimp have a good crispy corn coating. Not greasy at all. Chicken was very juicy and perfectly cooked. Not spicy and provided Frank's hot sauce if you wanted. Coleslaw was mayo based. Had a small vinegar tange ( not my personal fav) but still good. Would definely recommend.

  Best fried shrimp I've ever had, and fabulous local business. Had a basket with shrimp, potato salad, and hush puppies. The batter was perfectly crunchy, the shrimp were fresh, and they were HUGE. The potato salad was a little sweet for me, but that's a reflection on me, not them. It was still wonderful and chunky and creamy all at the same time. I ordered extra hush puppies because I have kids, but I'm not gonna lie. I ate the first one and by the time I was home (less than 2 miles), there was only one left for my kids to split. Definitely a great spot to stop for pescatarian. I'll be a regular now.

  My experience was Great!!!! I am so excited Hush Puppies is open 😊 nice and clean, and very welcoming. I ordered mix & match pick 3 catfish, chicken, & crab Bits two sides. Can you say delicious!!!! It’s cooked to order so my food was nice and hot. I’m going back to try the Surf & Turf burger and some other items off their menu. Thanks for great customer service!
