I highly recommend Silky Touch to anyone looking for a top-notch electrologist. Maryna is simply the best in the business, hands down! The whole team is very courteous and professional and I couldn't be happier with the results.

When I first started going, I was a bit nervous, but Maryna's friendly demeanor and professionalism immediately put me at ease. I started looking forward to my "spa sessions" with her because I enjoyed the conversation and pampering, which eased my discomfort.

Silky Touch Electrolysis is just the best shop in the East Bay, no doubt about it. I know because after the birth of my last child, I somehow developed an embarrassing fuzz of hair on my chin which was even more stubborn coming out than the afore mentioned child (36 hour labor)!!! Sadly, I seemed unable to get rid of it at all the other electrologists I had tried. Fortunately, I found Maryna at Silky Touch Electrolysis and she miraculously did it. Seeing the reflection in the mirror showing a hairless chin gives me an amazing feeling of satisfaction every single time!

Maryna and her team are exceptional. I felt comfortable through the treatments and they gave me better results than other places I went to in the past. Profesional, knowledgeable, the environment is clean organized, and they are just absolutely kind and sweet human beings. Will come back here anytime needed.

Also, Maryna took the time to explain the process and hair growth, and helped me understand how my facial hair grows and how it got quite so dense before I came to them. She is really passionate and invested in what she does and that comes across when she talks about it. That was a plus.

The pain is manageable, just talk to the electrologist you are seeing and they will adjust everything to make it tolerable for you. Also, I noticed time of day might be a factor, e.g. later in the evening is easier, as opposed to early in the morning when all senses are fresh and active. Numbing lotion helps too if applied ahead of time. Can also watch something on your phone to distract you. Everyone is different, but this worked for me, and hope these tips help.
