  I had to have a very extensive dental procedure done and needed a doctor that could do the dentist portion of the process. After reviewing doctors in my area I found Dr. Tuddle and Above the Gate Dentistry that had great reviews and worked regularly with the dental surgeon that I wanted to use.
  
  Dr. Tuddle performed the initial examination and pre-surgery work that needed to happen (i.e. temporary denture, etc.) along with the referral to the surgeon I needed. After months of planning and saving for this expensive procedure I went under the knife and had teeth pulled and implants installed. At the time of the surgery I then used the temporary denture for the duration of the healing process.
  
  I should also note that Dr. Tuddle is so caring toward his patients that I had a semi-emergency when I got some drying silicon gel attached to the stitches from the surgery. I couldn't remove the denture without pulling out the stitches and it was very painful. It was after hours and he said come into the office right now and I'll fix it for you. I came in and he was able to get the stitches off the silicon and I was saved from the pain of having to wait all night to do it the next day. Thanks again Dr. Tuddle.
  
  Once healed I had the implants exposed and the posts put in to hold the denture secure. Going back to Dr. Tuddle at ATGD he then continued the process to form the final denture that would attach to the implant posts. This process was quick and easy as ATGD uses high tech computer imagery to get the impressions of your teeth and bite. The days of hardening gel creeping down the back of your mouth/throat as it dries, are over. The imagery was then sent off to the lab and within a week I had the new permanent denture ready.
  
  Dr. Tuddle then went through the process of mounting the retainer cups for the implant posts and getting it to fit just right. After a few more visits for final adjustments we were done and the results are absolutely amazing.
  
  The procedure that I had was a upper overdenture. Which required full upper arch teeth removal with the installation of, in my case, six implants that would finally retain the denture in place without the need for gums or adhesive.
  
  Like I said, the results were absolutely amazing to me. For someone who grinded their teeth down and who hasn't had a good smile for 20+ years...I now have a smile that is just amazing. Not only that, but the plethora of dental issues that I had with my upper teeth are gone (obviously, I don't have them anymore) and the retained denture works so well I hardly ever know I'm wearing it. I can tear open packages with my teeth and don't fear them flying out of my mouth (as is not unusual with classic dentures) and can eat everything I always ate from steak to even gum. I actually don't even realize I'm wearing them most of the time. Thank you Above the Gate Dentistry.
  
  One other procedure I had was a lower crown replacement and again, they got the impression for my crown by taking imagery of my teeth and bite and then plugging that data into their own crown milling machine that actually milled my replacement crown while I waited. After it was made Dr. Tuddle came back in and placed the crown and remarkably, it worked perfectly. He didn't even have to make a single bite adjustment because the technology they used was so accurate. I've never had a crown prepped, made and installed in one visit within a few hours. Again, absolutely amazing!
  
  Finally, I found the staff, assistants, hygienists and everyone else that works at ATGD to be pleasant, caring and personable. They have TVs in every exam room with available ear phones so that you can enjoy a show or movie while you get your teeth worked on. But honestly, I find talking to the Dr. and staff much more pleasant than watching the movies, but the option is there if you want it.
  
  So yes, I highly recommend Above the Gate Dentistry for your dental needs.

  Great dental office. I've been with them for years and wouldn't change. My daughter was with them too before she relocated.

  Love them! Staff is amazing! Always get clean teeth and clean office! Scheduling and reminders are great! Dentists do great work on major issues. 2 locations. How can you beat that! Thanks ATG!

  First of all, I highly recommend coming here for dental work. They have two offices, one in Diamond Springs and the other in El Dorado Hills. This review however, is for Dr. Tuttle. A friend of mine chipped her two front teeth on a camping trip and did not have a current dentist in the area. Dr. Tuttle not only spoke on the phone with her and reassured her, he was able to squeeze her in early the very next day to make sure it was resolved as quickly as possible. I am so grateful to him and his team!
