When you find that perfect doctor, your husband tries to get him to also be his general practitioner. Always declining with a laugh Dr. Sortor and staff make going to the eye doctor enjoyable. Sadly I lost a contact behind my eye and most recently had LINT stuck to the inside of my eye lid. They tell me to come right down and doc gets to work. I like to think I keep him on his toes! My entire family and several friends use him and they have the best office in town..

If only Dr. Sorter were teaching some of the physicians I work with how to listen to their patients and how to explain their recommendations so the patient can understand.
Dr. Sorter’s skill in this area is unmatched in my experience. I should also mention that people who work for him are unfailingly helpful and cordial.
I definitely feel like I’m doing a friend a favor when I recommend his practice. I’m grateful to the friend who introduced me.

Dr. Sortor is the best eye doctor I have ever had and here is why -- he not only has the most up-to-date equipment, he also does something so rare these days, he takes TIME with his patients. Time to listen to them, ask them questions, and time to talk to his patients to share his experience and knowledge. His open communication is very appreciated! I feel so lucky to have Dr. Sortor and his wonderful staff to help me with my vision care!

We have been going to Dr. Sortor for the last five or six years, since a friend told us he could see more clearly than he'd ever seen before. Now my wife and I can see more clearly than we've ever seen before, as well. His office staff is super-friendly, very efficient (so we never have to wait), and Dr. Sortor is highly knowledgeable in every aspect of his field. His equipment is state-of-the-art, the office is comfortable, and we are always telling our friends about him. Can't say enough good stuff!

I have been going to Dr. Sortor for the last five years, and I think he is the best! He is so nice and easy to talk to, and I always feel like he takes the time to answer all of my questions. The technology he utilizes during eye exams never fails to impress me. He has the up-to-date equipment to make eye examinations very easy, and incredibly efficient. Also, I absolutely enjoy going to the office! All of the staff I have met have been very helpful and kind. I really appreciate having Dr. Sortor as my eye doctor!
