(April 14, 2019, 6:52 pm)This is our favorite place to stop for food on our way to/from LA. You get your monies worth in portions. If you’re lucky enough, you may even get seated in Tammy’s section. She’s friendly & attentive, and she’ll take great care of you.

(April 10, 2019, 7:48 pm)There is a Latina female waitress that is the best I've seen in a while. I've been here a few time and by luck or good faith, I always get her. she very outgoing and friendly and anytime I go there I look for her because I know I will get excellent service. Keep it up.

(April 7, 2019, 12:42 pm)The portions are large and the food is good. The interior feels spacious and comfortable. Eating here is worth the drive from Bakersfield. Whether you're shopping or just taking a trip "out of town" this place is great. The kids menu is substantial and the staff has always been great with my kids.

(March 28, 2019, 6:48 am)We had lunch at Black Bear Diner. We wanted to try the taco shell salad. It took the two of us to finish it. Super yummy. Will definitely order again. Can't wait for our next Black Bear Diner mission.
