  The tacos here are excellent. Had Al Pastor and Lengua and they were both delicious, especially the Lengua which was super tender. The taco plate has extra nice touches like escabeche, grilled jalepeno and a little tosadito with refried beans. Kids shared a breakfast burrito which they say is the best they’ve ever had.

  Had a super tasty pastor mulita and was delighted by how fresh and fast it was. Much better than the microwave chains nearby. Was enthused by the steady local crowd, clearly a lunch stop spot and that’s all I needed to know!

  Perfect and delightful find. I'd stopped for gas and saw only restaurant chains I'd never eat in, but blissfully this independent taco truck was there. The gentleman serving (perhaps the owner?) was so attentive and he even gave my puppy a portion of steak which blew my mind with thoughtfulness and generosity. Oh, and the burrito was fantastic!

  Was here to charge up, decided to pop by Tacos El Monkey for a quick bite. I got 3 different tacos. The Asada was amazing, the Lengua was so fork tender I didn't need to chew it, and the best for me was the Pastor. Everything was so flavourful. I even had a bite of my friends quesadilla, and it was so crisp and brimming with chewy stretchy cheese. And the burritos are very hefty and tasty! Thanks!

  My wife got the Baja tacos and I got regular. We had one each of Asada, Pollo and Pastor. They were a good size (not tiny), and were very good. I think they are cash only.
