Briasd fire road heading up to promontory lookout over the city. Monthly docent led full moon hikes.
Nice and pretty trail. Takes less than an hour to finish the trail. Great for taking a walk away from the city.
Nice in the early a.m. while there's still a bit if shade, if you don't mind the occasional noisy hiker and the over application of cologne.
FYI, a mountain lion has made an appearance on one occasion, and rattlesnakes can be on the trail once the day heats up.
I hike almost everyday and find it safe and most everyone very friendly. I love it!
Biking around the lake was really fun, the kids love it and because of a lot of big trees we always under the shade
