It didn't lay all the way down. It just didn't do the job. Then after all that hassle of shipping it back, I visited Electropeadic Bed/the Kraus Chair Store to get her a lift chair. Antoinette was wonderful and helped me pick the right one. They even delivered a loner until our special order chair was delivered. Unfortunately, before the final delivery my mom took a turn for the worse and ended up in a nursing home. Antoinette processed the refund with no problem. She was so supportive through the whole process. I would strongly recommend Kraus Chair Store and would definitely shop their in the future!
