  I’ve been training at this school for over 10 years and I learned a lot of self-defense techniques and Martial Arts principles. I still have a lot to learn but now I have better physic and awareness. The Grandmaster is a world-class teacher, and everyone is very friendly.????
  
  This is a great place for anyone who wants to learn authentic Martial Arts, and they have adult class too, where you can meet up with friends and master the technique of martial arts.

  Going onto year six and couldn’t be happier! The quality of teaching is top notch. The sincerity and dedication of the Grandmasters in handing down such an amazing style of martial arts is simply undeniable and you can just witness, feel and experience that zeal overflow from them to the masters, the instructors and mentors, and to each individual fighter. It sticks with traditional martial arts- one that is practical and what essentially works! The kind that doesn’t rely on brute force but correct technique, which is applicable in real life situations. There are no such requirements based on age, built, gender, social status, etc. As long as you are willing to learn, they will train and make a fighter out of you! I am very grateful to be part of a school with such a deep sense of community. Being in ASMA has played an integral role in my transformation and continued desire to grow as a better person. Everyone here encourages you to pursue and realize your dreams and achieve your goals. The school also holds events to give students the opportunity to showcase their talents and skills outside of martial arts - an excellent coupled with so much fun way to come together and support each other! :)

  American School of Martial Arts is pretty much one of the best decisions I’ve ever made in my life. Not only have I learned a way of life that has translated into every part of my being, I never thought I would find a family and a home here. The Grandmasters and owners are exquisite, fine, elegant and mighty fighters. Integrity and excellence is their banner, as teachers but most of all as people. Dedication to every area of this craft, the commitment to every student as well as their A- List teachers leaves us in awe.
  If you desire to learn about Kung Fu, Taichi while shedding your ego in a loving safe environment ( and become a top top at this form of art, competition ready) this is the best place in California. Although if they ever moved to another state, they would be the best in that state. I would never be able to practice Kung Fu else where.

  Grandmaster Baird is truly a gem in the world of Martial Arts. You can really sense his life long dedication to the craft and to teaching it. I'd definitely recommend checking out the American School of Martial Arts.
