We had a good experience with this facility... On my first phone call to Creative Care Mental Health Treatment Program, I spoke to one of the administrator named David Vasquez. This was a phone call that left me with a deep impact. I could really tell by our discussion that he really cared. He took an interest in my son right away and my expressions of concern as well as discussions regarding the kind of person he is. David listened to every detail and elaborated on it. He reflects the spirit of the clinical team and staff there - and that is - he/ they really care. When he called me back, I was overwhelmed by his caring and concern. He definitely went above and beyond the Call of duty to make it possible for our adult son too be part of this outstanding program at Calabasas residential facility.

Their strategy is good there. at times when the client is not expressing himself, when he should, they address this and help them to see how important it is as part of their recovery and to take advantage of therapy. If The therapist discerns that the client is not invested enough in their therapy, they address it, so the client can really benefit from the arrangement. Among the many talented staff there, is a therapist named Jessica, she really helped our son with his progress. She is very insightful, involved and really works with the clients to help them overcome many of their challenges that will lead to a successful pathway in the future.

The staff there is very warm and really cares. This is very important in the recovery process because the clients know that they're cared about. They are motivated to make a difference in the client's life and help them get back on the path or roadway that creates a promising stable outlook for their future with success.

The location is absolutely beautiful, a very healthy environment for someone to recover from an addiction, a mental disorder, depression or some other related condition. The staff is like a family. As a client there, you don't feel that your alienated, you feel included and cared about. It's like a second family.

They are good at checking in with the family as well. While they respect the confidentiality of the client, they communicate effectively with the key members of the family so that everyone can be on board with support and part of the therapy process. Of course they get permission from the client first. They also have strict rules to protect all the clients from the Corona virus, this is very reassuring. Creating this protective bubble, allows the clients and staff to socialize and interact which is very helpful with recovery. Too often, people suffering from a mental disorder tend to isolate themselves which often has an adverse effect.

Dr. Son, the psychiatrist there, is really skilled and good. He is very insightful and doesn't just simply give medications to a patient because, that is a standard. He continually evaluates the medications he's prescribing, the benefits or side effects and uses his skill level, background and experience to figure out how to adjust medications for the individual.

By our experience, we can say that this is an outstanding program with an outstanding staff in a great environment and location. The area is and the house, conducive to a positive environment for recovery from a mental disorder disorder. They are dedicated and really care! They respect your religious beliefs as well, which is important to many.

I hope whoever reads this review, greatly considers sending their loved one there, it truly can make a huge difference in their lives and yours.

Thank you to David Vasquez, Jessica, Dr Son and all the staff who showed such care and interest in our son, that had such a positive impact on his life and ours!
