  Great camp ground that house a USFS Fire station along with a boys scout camp. Very safe and secluded

  This campground is free. Upon entry you're welcomed by deers and when the sun sets, you gonna start seeing a LOTS of skunks. To keep them away start a Bonfire (really effective).
  We went there Friday night. It was a good experience overall.

  Nice camping site, out of the way.
  
  In the Angeles national Forest next to a boy scout camp and fire and ranger station, this little campground is a nice setting for a week or weekend away from the city. The mountain views are stunning and the area is full of trails. Take water and supplies and be sure to check in at the ranger station for info and tips as well as news about the weather or fires. Wildlife photographers and groups frequently visit this camp site but be warned, it's very hot in the summer.
