This is a great school.All staff including the crossing gaurd is so dedicated and happy to help.My favorite thing about the school is how both principles are always out on the playground or walking around campus greeting parents, for you can just tell that they fulfill the position perfectly.Which is a change because the school my child use to attend, for the principle was always locked in her office and when she did come out it seemed it was only to yell at someone who was running down the hall.She had a chip on her shoulder and you can just tell that she was not happy about anything.I'm thankful that we moved and now my child gets to attend cedar grove which is wonderful school .Ms.McNeil is by far the best teacher I have ever met.You can tell she is experienced and the way she gets the kids engaged in learning by being so creative in her lesson plans ..I had no idea that a teacher could be so awesome by making learning so much fun.My son now loves to play Math bingo at home, and he wants to do science experiments that he has learned.They inspire everyone to be golden.
I wouldn't change my experience a bit
All 6 of my kids have attended Cedar Grove Elementary school... my oldest going 29 and my youngest is 5....The teacher's are very hands on and seem to really care about their students. And our new principal is awesome!!!
