Volvo Pit Stop

Hands down the most honest and upfront mechanic I have ever spoken to. Everyone I spoke to was extremely friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable.

I live in New Jersey and had a pre-purchase inspection done on a Volvo in the area. I was given videos of every thing wrong with the car, no matter how big or small the problem was. After the videos, they had called me back and walked me through every single problem and explained each to me, as well as gave me a breakdown of how much they would cost to fix while pointing out what would be crucial to fix immediately.

All I can say is that I wish they were located on the east coast! If you own a Volvo in the area that needs work, this is the mechanic to go to.

They were up front about pricing. Also they were Honest about everything and my option.

2005 V70R had a persistent “Start Prevented” error on the dash and car would not start 80% of the time making it risky to drive anywhere. Car was left with another independent Volvo specialist for 2 months and they could not fix let alone diagnose the problem. I heard about Sam and decided that he would be my last attempt at fixing this car or just get rid of it. Sam has the car for a week and had the problem fixed! Sam found some dirty electrical connectors and cleaned those and car starts every time! He kept the car an extra week and tried it every day to confirm that the problem was resolved. Hasn’t come back! Thanks! Highly recommended and an honest mechanic you can trust with your car.

Sam and Serley are absolutely the very best business owners we have ever met. We have entrusted Sam to care for our Volvo driven by one of our daughters now for many years. We are so impressed with his knowledge and expertise. WE have absolute trust we have in Sam and Shirley who regard customer service as the lifeblood of their business.

More than that is how Sam and Serley treat you like family. Every time we hang up the phone after speaking with Sam & Shirley we feel a sense of relief that only comes with trust and belief in another person. In all my years, I can honestly say that there has never been a business owner that I have trusted more than I do Sam. I know that Sam considers my daughter’s safety and the wellbeing of our family on every decision he makes to care for our car like it is his own.

I can never say enough nice things about this shop. Sam and Shirley were incredibly professional and incredibly knowledgeable. I was living in LA for a few months and looking for a solid Volvo shop and this guys did not let me down. They are fairly priced and quick with their work.
Sam goes the extra mile to make sure you walk out of there with a safe and reliable vehicle. I wish I could take their shop back home with me
