  My 11 year old grandson and I were looking for a skate shop near Sunland to replace his scooter’s ball bearings and, fortunately for us, we found Crown Roots in La Crescenta. The gentleman who took care of us was very congenial and knowledgeable about skateboards and scooters. Since the wheels were in bad shape too, he offered us a deal - 2 brand new wheels for $20 instead of $15 for 2 ball bearings, which posed some difficulty in removing. After the new wheels were put on - the red interior of the wheels also matched his scooter - my grandson tested it and is now a “happy camper” on his new and smooth ride!! Thank you Crown Roots Skate for making our day! Even though it might, at the present time, be more geared to skateboarders, they will do their best to try and accommodate you. I recommend checking it out. ????
