This is a great rest stop I take a break from driving between NorCal and SoCal. It has ample parking, very clean restrooms, educational exhibits, and great views of the reservoir. Kids can run around and learn something from the exhibits. Adults can sit around, watching their kids run around having fun, and have a good time. Just a good spot to stop, and during my many visits it has never been crowded.

Great place to stop to stretch your legs, go to the bathroom, take your dog out, learn something new, etc etc.

This place had some great views and even better resources for learning about the CA water delivery system. Everything is easy to understand without being only suitable for kids. If you really stop to read everything you'll actually learn a ton - but you don't have to if you don't want to. There is tons of parking and the views of pyramid lake are stunning. Overall a great stop!

Nice place for a pit stop. Beautiful views. Really great place if you have kids that need to stretch their legs. Very informative and interesting history wise. Restrooms are very clean. I highly recommend a stop if you need to.

Great place for a quick visit, especially after a long drive. Inside is very clean and very welcoming. It has a great view of the lake from the balcony and a great place to get a glimpse of California water history.

Was driving to Palm Springs from San Jose. This was a very nice pit stop even tho I got there around 4:43 and they were closing at 5. Although I didn't get to look at everything, I had fun. Would have stayed longer had they not closed.
Note: You have to be outside the gate by closing.
