  My 6 year old son has been coming here for about 2 years. I am so impressed with the instructors and how they work with the children. My son is very hyperactive and needs to be kept on task, the instructors are firm and consistent with him. Not only do they teach them jiu jitsu but they also teach them respect and how to be a better person. This is more than just self defense and I am grateful for their guidance.

  My son has been attending classes for almost a year and he absolutely loves it here. Never has complained about coming...not even once! We love the care and attention Pedro, Brennan and John put into the classes as well as the individual attention they pay to each and every student. My son has gone from being very timid to being someone who I feel could protect me from an attack. Now he tells me,at 13, that he wants to protect me from bad guys. It’s pretty neat to see this transformation. In addition to learning jiu jitsu, we really appreciate the life lessons and positive teachings they discuss at the end of class. I couldn’t be happier with the progress my son is making and we plan to be here for years to come! Thank you to all of wonderful teachers at Caique Jiu Jitsu!

  Our 14 year old boy has been a member of the academy for 6 years now. Our 8 year old daughter started 2 years ago. Hands-down, the best activity our kids participate in. Ton of fun. Plus, the skills they’ve learned are immensely valuable for both self-defense and confidence. Academy culture is family-oriented, friendly and open to all, kids and parents. Can’t say enough about the quality of instruction. Each session is planned out and organized, with each individual move within the session explained, demo'd and drilled through sparring. Discipline/fun ratio is dialed in perfectly. Pedro, Brennan and John are awesome, and fantastic role models. Very appreciative of the Caique team and what they've given our kids.

  So glad we found this great place to learn jiu jitsu! Every class is a good balance of review, drill, sparring and new techniques. At the end of class, my 13 y.o. dd is tired, but always smiling because she gained skills and had fun. The instructors are really great mentors too - welcoming and caring but also no nonsense. The instructors make sure that newbies are just as comfortable and safe as the experienced students. All the coaches are great but special shout out to John. He was so down to earth and encouraging that my shy daughter was hooked after her free trial lesson and was ready to walk into a class of strangers in order to learn more. We love that our daughter is getting such practical skills for self defense and body discipline. Thanks Caique Jiu Jitsu!
