My son is t1d and is treated by Dr nagpala. He is a blessing to work with
Dr. Nagpala is patient and very compassionate. He explains his reasoning for dosage changes and our visits are never rushed. We drive at least an hour and a half each way to see him and its worth it for such a great doctor!
I was absolutely surprised that Dr. Brakin's did not have more than 50 reviews with five stars. So let me tell you about my experience with Endocrinologists my son had seen from the top high paid Endocrinologists at USC, LA Children's Hospital, Long Beach Children's Hospital and here in the South Bay since he was 4. After giving up on what could be done to further evaluate our son from what an endocronologist should be able to offer (testing and such) I was going to give up. Then my sons Dr. Klyman said to me please try this one last doctor his name is Dr. Brakin in Long Beach. His passion in his caring person of who he is, was the only one who finally found out what was causing my sons condition because he is an outside of the box thinker.
He did a Growth Hormone Stimulation Test to find out why my son was slow in growing and test came back that his pituitary gland was not functioning right. This of course matched up with the mild head injury that our son got from forceps used on his head at a c-section delivery at Little Company of Mary Hospital. Anyway, Dr. Brakin was able help our son get an accurate diagnosis and treatment covered through insurance for growth hormone shots. He is a Jewel, and is sincere in his care in helping to truly try to help resolve what is the cause and thorough diagnosis
