  I am new to Long Beach and needed glasses right away. I lost my favorite pair while on a trip. I was looking for a place close to where I live. I choose Sears Optical because of the name brand and also on the selection of frames available online to view. I jotted down several model numbers to try on. When I visited the store I was greeted professionally and cordially. The Sears Optical representative, Bambi, was filled with the best customer service demeanor anyone could ask for. Especially for a transitioning Latina. I came in a bit " gruffy" with facial hair. I was directed to the male frames and then I clarified as I was seeking my first women's frames. Bambi was clear on asking my preferred pronouns and apologized. No problem. I found exactly the frames I wanted. I came in with a prescription. I purchased two beautiful frames and lenses and received the second pair free. My favorite pair was ready in a few days, the second within a week. When I came to pick up my purchase Bambi got to see the "real me" and there was more of a bond. Five star experience on quality of product, professionalism, competitive prices and excellent, personable customer service. Highly recommended.

  Great optometrist! Great deals! Staff is friendly and helpful although if you're used to a place like Lens Crafters, stock on hand is pretty limited. Also, there is no dispensing optician so it takes at least 10 days for prescription to be filled. If you can wait that long, it's a great place to go. If not, you're better off going somewhere where the glasses are dispensed on-site.
