Residence Inn by Marriott Long Beach Downtown

  We stayed here for a convention. It was close to the convention but still far enough removed that were were able to leave the convention crowd behind when we returned to the motel. Staff was wiling to help with transportation needs and ready with suggestions. Notes for a future trip:
  1. I placed my key card in the same pocket as my phone and it was unusable when we returned. I switched pockets for the rest of the time and had no problems from then on.
  2. Passport bus arrives 4 min after leaving the Queen Mary avoid standing in the rain.
  3. The Passport bus on the way back to the Inn stops and takes a 10 min break at the Queen Mary. It is worth it to sit it out rather than walk to the Inn. We walked and the bus reached the Inn the same time that we did.

  This place was amazing! I had a fabulous time as a guest there. From the rooms to the guest services to the breakfast. Great location close to walking distance for bars and restaurants. Only downfall was the $24 overnight parking.

  Front desk was pleasant, easy check in. Only one washcloth in bathroom tho. Floor by first floor elevators, Sunday morning was filthy. Other than that was a good overnight stay

  Excellent rooms, surprised to find a mini kitchen in the room. I was on business travel and didn't book the room myself so I was pleasantly surprised. Breakfast was great! Location is a bit isolated but a short 10 minute drive to down town!

  View overlooks the Pike. Wonderful view at night. Parking lot is a bit dark. Staff is very friendly. Rooms are spacious but not very child proof. A lot of the furniture has sharp edges. Bed is a bit soft for my preference.
