  The real thing. Authentic Tai Chi from China. Learn from a Master.
  I was looking for an authentic martial arts teacher for many years, and had pretty much given up. Then I went to visit a class a friend was taking taught by Master Bosco Baek. One class was enough to know that I'd found what I had been searching for. I've been learning and practicing since then. Years have flown by.
  Master Baek is a patient yet challenging teacher. He is completely sincere.

  Prepare to be rigorously challenged! This exceptional Tai Chi school combines step-by-step instruction that almost anyone can follow with exacting, high standards that can make the strongest athletes wilt. I thought that Tai Chi would be a gentle, relaxing detour from my 4+ years of Crossfit and Oly lifting but, in my first workshop, I found myself barely keeping up with a classmate who was 7 months pregnant and another who was 80 years old. I couldn't believe how demanding the easiest steps and stances could be. But in just half a year or so, I've recovered from several recurring injuries--wrist, knees, back--and my general health and immune system have improved tremendously. The owner and master teacher Bosco Baek is exceptionally experienced, learned (yoga as well as tai chi), patient, and pedagogically gifted, a true treasure.

  I’m new to Tai Chi, or Taiji as it’s correctly called. I’ve only been doing it for a few months, but I’ve really enjoyed it. This place seems to be the only legitimate source for Taiji in the area.
  
  Bosco Baek, the owner and lead instructor, is extremely knowledgeable, both about the physical form and philosophical aspects of Taiji. He trains using a personalized, step-by-step style to optimize your growth. I, truly, feel lucky to be taking classes here.

  I've been studying Chen Taiji at the academy for about three years and can't say enough good things about it. I'm truly grateful for finding it.
  I was searching for a school that remained true to the art and conducted class in a traditional manner. In the Chen Bing academy both of my wants were met and exceeded. To begin, Laoshi Baek is an accomplished practitioner and teacher. He is the only authorized teacher of Chen taiji in the United States. His skill level is evident when he teaches. When he demonstrates a movement or technique even a novice can tell how much time, practice and understanding he has. Laoshi conducts class in the same way classes are conducted in the Chen village to include the traditional class greetings, and titles of fellow classmates.
  This is just a small example of what separates this school from any other in the U. S. To the serious student looking for a great school to call home, look no further. I highly recommend this academy.

  Chen Bing is just... Fantastic. If you're new to Tai Chi, or Taiji, they have exceptional beginner and fundamentals classes and hands on instruction. Even as a non-newbie, I am both challenged and continue to learn a lot in their Chen Village Primary course, taught be Chris W. I've taken several years of classes with other schools (Yang and Chen styles), but find this instruction to be the best among them. I'm really looking forward to more because I realize how much I've just scratched the surface. It's very humbling and exciting.
  
  Whether you're curious or skeptical, this is certainly one of the top places to learn.
