I've been going to Moun of Tunis for years, it's become my favorite restaurant and it's always a treat to visit. My family is from Tunisia, and this is the only place where I've been able to find authentic Tunisian food like they used to make (relevant note: this isn't your Trader Joe's brand harissa, be prepared for the Real Spice 🔥)! The servers here are always helpful and friendly too, so the atmosphere I've experienced is consistently welcoming. Highly recommend this gem!
We had a really fun experience here. We were looking in the neighborhood and decided that this would be a nice change of pace. You get a ton of food for your money! Everything was delicious, and it was our first time trying North African food. Everything tasted great, from the couscous to the kebabs to the mint tea. We had a great time!
If you want to try something different and original, then you should definitely give it a try. Go on a Friday night and you will be treated with a belly dancer. You will be taking a lot of food home because you won't be able to finish it all and that's the catch because it is on the pricy side. If all you want is couscous, you will have to go through different other entrees and side dishes that you wouldn't have tried otherwise, and by the time your couscous gets to you, you won't be able to really appreciate it because you will be already full.
It was my first time in there and my wife and I loved it! The food was delicious and Ben, the owner (& the staff) were amazing!
It's a very interesting concept where everyone at the table has to choose the same feast and we would recommend the Morrocan. I mean, you can't got wrong either way, to be honest.
The belly dancing was definitely a wonderful bonus!
The beef kabobs are to die for!! They literally melt in your mouth like butter, super tender and flavorful..you can taste the quality. I drive all the way from Glendora and it is always worth it!
