(October 15, 2018, 9:30 am)This is the lower entrance to Santa Susana State Park. There is parking along the street. Picnic tables to eat upon. The trail gradually goes up hill from this spot into the Santa Susana Mountains. The most popular goal is the Stagecoach trail. This trail follows the old stagecoach road out of the San Fernando Valley to Simi Valley. It terminates at the Lilac trailhead at the top of the park. There is a toilet here, but I always find it locked.
