Was looking for a refreshing afternoon drink on a hot day and noticed all the great reviews for Loose Leaf Boba Company. I ordered the Peach Sunset Tea and couldn't be more impressed. Real ingredients, no artificial powders or syrups, and a lovely, complex fruity flavor that reminds me of Lemonheads candy and fresh peaches. This drink is divine and I got it at 25% sweetness for the perfect balance of sweet and tart that cooled me down immediately. Cannot wait to come back and maybe try out the rest of the menu if I can get over my addiction to this drink!
So excited that there’s a new boba shop in DTLA🤩🙌🏻 this is such a great new addition to the area & helps satisfy my tea cravings
🧋Ordered:
1. Strawberry matcha latte
2. Peach mango tea w/ lychee jelly
3. Osmanthus oolong milk tea w/ grass jelly
4. Black sesame ginger latte
My favorite was the osmanthus oolong because of the light floral tea, it was so refreshing! The black sesame drink was also interesting because of the ginger notes, I got it with rly light sweetness so I would recommend doing half or 75% sweet with that one!
Tried this place the other day and it was so worth it! Cute little spot across from Pershing square. Cozy setting and great drinks. They took care to make mine with almond milk and not to mix with dairy which I really appreciated. It was easy to order via the iPads and their people were friendly and warm. I will definitely be back. Also they have cool lids that are resealable :)
Honestly the best bubble tea I’ve ever had. The tea was the perfect level of sweetness, the tapioca texture was perfect, and they even have non dairy milk options. The customer service was great too.
One of the unique boba stores in the Melrose/Fairfax area that you gotta try out.
I'm a tea lover, so I always try different tea and add cheese foam (or sea salted cream) on top with boba and reduce the sugar level to 70% so I can taste the strongness of the tea; if not, It will straight sugar drink.
I like the tea and different tea options they offer here and its quality! You can either order yourself (repeated clients because you already know how it works) or with the cashier (first-timers to ask questions about different things). Sometimes the service is slow due to a lack of staff.
Parking is intense on Melrose, so recommended to turn right or to N Poinsettia Pl to find free residential parking and walk to the boba place.
