Our teacher Amber did a stellar job at taking us step-by-step through the process and was such a joy to be around.

(April 9, 2018, 3:55 pm)I just completed my month-long intro to ceramics class and loved it! The pottery classes are great for beginners (like me) and more intermediate/ advanced students as well. Ana and Mel made something that seemed intimidating really fun and easy to learn (though it is challenging to master)! They also have a bunch of really impressive pieces for sale at very reasonable prices. For being a new studio they already have built a large, welcoming community- their opening party had tons of people from all over Los Angeles. Plus, The Row in Downtown LA is a really cool space and is only going to get more and more popular as more stores/ restaurants continue to open- its easy to make a day out of it and go shopping before/ after class! I highly recommend Still Life and hope to take another class there soon!

(April 4, 2018, 7:11 pm)This is hands down the best pottery spot in downtown LA - it might be my favorite spot in LA. The vibe is so calm and Mel and Ana are incredible teachers and they make you feel so so welcome. I took the beginner 4 week pottery class and came out of the course having made some pieces that I am really proud of and am signing up for more classes next month. I cannot recommend this place more highly.

(April 1, 2018, 9:13 pm)This is the best ceramics / pottery studio in downtown Los Angeles! Ana & Mel are amazing teachers! I just finished a beginner 4week class and I can see the advancement thru out the weeks with their patient and helpful guidance. Definitely recommend everyone to come visit this amazing and beautiful space.
