A hole in the wall establishment, I had the breakfast, bacon was excellent, eggs good, fries great. Didn't have the pancakes but they look good. If in LA again, will come back.
I've lived here in L.A. for 55 years now. This place is seriously SOLID. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The burgers are better than most fast food chains...save In-'N'-Out...but their fries are better. Fatburger....? Killer burgers, but they've become a luxury burger for once in a while.
Price-wise, this place is better than reasonable.
If you have a problem with Patras On Sunset....then most likely it's you; not them.
Food was good and hot, but it just didn't came across to me as something special. A fine "greasy spoon" style establishment.
Cheap burger and fries that are consistently delicious. Tried the zucchini fries for the first time and was pleasantly surprised to find they were quite good. Don’t let my photo fool you, they provided a large quantity. My only negative would be the onion rings I’ve had before which were missing any kind of seasoning.
Yes, it’s a hole in the wall neighborhood burger place with a walk up window and a couple of outdoor tables along the parking lot, but it’s mix and match menu of LA classic American, Mexican and Asian items makes it a regular comfort food stop for me. Hearty breakfast burrito with chorizo and a Thai iced coffee? Yep, that will do.
