The Adler A Hollywood Hotel

This hotel is a great find! It is close to Hollywood walk of fame and Universal Studios. It is clean, well staffed and reasonably priced. I appreciated the retro Hollywood style decor and their collection of photographs. There is a nice kitchen nook in the room with a microwave and fridge. Bathroom is spacious. There is plenty of free parking. They have a great diner and what looked like a pretty busy bar downstairs. If their mattress didn’t give us back pain, it would have been the perfect stay.

We stayed here for an overnight trip. The hotel has character! Loved the look outside. Great parking . Check-in was quick and very pleasant. The room was beautiful, large, and very clean. The bed was very comfortable. The restaurant was good, friendly staff and so retro! Just loved the look and feel of the entire hotel! The pool looked good, too, but it was a bit too chilly for that. We will be back . I highly recommend it!

Z at the front desk made the stay phenomenal! They are so lucky to have her. The only reason I did not give a 5 star was because they’re in the middle of renovating, and we were not told this when we booked. We got to our room and had 2 beds, a tv, a nightstand, and the ac unit. There was only one mirror, and it was in the bathroom. We also didn’t have any hangers to hang our clothes for wrinkles to fall out. They offered us to use their fridge and microwave, and they apologized profusely for the inconvenience. As I said, Z truly made us feel welcomed accommodated. After all, we did have a clean and welcoming place to stay with pretty much everything we needed.

Location was great, seemed to be right on the line between Hollywood and Hollywood Hills. Room (two Queens) was good sized and clean with a large bathroom and kitchenette. Linens were limited, only three towels for four people/three nights, and fair warning, housekeeping is not daily, I am comfortable with this but some may not be. We really weren't into Hollywood Blvd and the walk of fame (though it is close and an easy walk) so we were sad to realize on our last night there was a whole block of bookstores and restaurants just west on Franklin that we would have liked visiting more than the more tourist-focused area.
