Captivated by the graffiti dragon art inside, we opted for Spicy Beef Soup Noodles and spicy wonton soup. The beef noodle soup stood out with its tasty, flavorful broth and soft, chewy noodles. It featured beef, soybean sauce, green onions, coriander, celery, and baby bok choy. While the meat had a slight firmness, it remained delicious.
Beef Rib Noodles: 4.5/5
Chengdu Zhajiang Mian: 3.5/5 - tasty, but a little too numbing for me
Sichuan Cold Noodles: 4/5
Service: 5/5 - all servers and staff are nice and attentive
Vibe: 4.5/5 - nice decor and open kitchen
Came here on the later side of the evening-- it wasn't as popping as we thought. I personally think the San Gabriel location is better. I got the Spicy Beef Noodle soup & Huaxing Fried Egg Noodles (vegetarian). Food was okay but nothing crazy! The servers were pretty casual and in a rush to close.
Stopped in for round 2 after a first course at one of the many other great spots in quickly developing west adams hood.
We tried the hot and sour noodle soup, mapo tofu, and an assortment of veggie sides.
Everything was yummy with balanced flavors and the perfect level of spice. Service was friendly and the space has a nice vibe to it.
